Very sobering. But very true.

I have never felt so secure and loved by God as I did in the hardest times. When it felt like everything had been taken and all that was left was Him; That is when I knew I was the most blessed and cared for.
I really don't know how to say this, but there is something very real and different about not turning to Him when things suddenly blow up, simply because, you were already in His arms. As opposed to just going to Him when times get tough...

There is an excellent song that is right along these lines from Natalie Grant. ( I have it on my blog music)

"If hope is born of suffering
If this is only the beginning
Can we not wait, for one hour
Watching for our savior
This is what it means to be held
How it feels, when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive
This is what it is to be loved and to know
That the promise was when everything fell
We'd be held"

I am sure you have heard it before but if not, you can hear the full version on you tube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOufqWodFNo

Anyhow, Thanks for sharing and I think I will put this video on my blog as well.
